Hanworth Tiny Whoop Club (HTWC) are excited to host our second Tiny Whoop UK (TWUK) british qualifying event for the TWUK league. The league is only in its second year and orientated around encouraging the whoop racing scene, endorsed by the British Drone Racing Association (BDRA).
Whether you are a beginner pilot or a veteran to the sport, We hope to foster the drone racing scene to include as many people as possible.

Important information for pilots
You are required to run a 65mm whoop (65mm diagonal post-to-post). 65mm and 65mm pro whoops are accepted. If your whoop does not meet this requirement, please reach out to us and we will do our best to get you compliant for the race.
All drones must comply with the current CAA restrictions including insurance. Please make sure you are covered before attending.
You are required to be a member of the BDRA before the event so you can score points towards the finals. You can still attend if not, but your points will not be counted towards the final event.
Timing and format
We will be using a rotorhazard 8-node lap timer with a front-end software known as fpv trackside, alongside an event VRX which will capture both analogue and digital video feeds. These combined will alow us to accurately marashal the event, and are used in the most prestigious FPV events in the world..
The format will be a period of qualifying then Triple Finals For All
Everyone will get seeded from fastest to slowest into finals heats of 4 pilots
A Mains
- Qualifier 1
- Qualifier 2
- Qualifier 3
- Qualifier 4
B Mains
- Qualifier 5
- Qualifier 6
- Qualifier 7
- Qualifier 8
...ect for as many pilots as there are
Each race is run 3 times
Pilots get finals points based on their finishing position
1st = 10 points
2nd = 6 points
3rd = 3 points
4th = 1 points
Your total points from those 3 races determine your Final Position at the event

Entry fee is set at £15 with a £5 discount for BDRA members.
We have kept the price low to encourage pilots to join and to spend money at the venue on food and drink.

Insurance
All pilots will require insurance for this event.
If you are a member of the BMFA you are good to go.
If you are a member of an alternative drone insurer, unfortunately this is not sufficient. This is because other insurers (that we have found) do not cover competitive events. You will need BMFA for this event as a condition of participating.

Your Final Position from this event will score points in the league
Compare with your freinds from other clubs and see where you stand

Reducing by 5 points for each subsequent position

The food at The Winning Post is great and very reasonably priced. We will go around and ask what you would like for lunch in the morning. We will stop for lunch at 2pm and all eat together.

Refund policy
In the event of a cancellation, we will do our best to find another pilot to take your place. Once a pilot has been allocated your place, you will be given a full refund minus paypal fees (4%).
