Shuttleworth Summer fete - Jul 12th - 13th (Sat - Sun)

The BDRA has been invited to be part of the Shuttleworth Summer Fete on 12/13th July 2025 and this will be run as a Qualifying event for the 24/25 Championship.

A grand marquee will be provided for pilots ready for racing on the Saturday and Sunday.  Our provisional calendar is:

Saturday

08:00 - Site open to pilots.

08:30 - Pilot check-in and scrutineering 

09:15 - Pilot safety briefing

09:30 - 17:00 Heats of 6 pilots at a time.

Sunday

9:30 - Two further rounds of qualifying and then finals for all.

16:00 - Prizegiving and track takedown

Entry fee includes a ticket to view the exhibition and overnight camping (we are just waiting to get the final details of the camping from Shuttleworth)

This is a public event and we are hoping that many of you will engage with the public to promote drone racing.  We will have simulators and 'have a go' (line of site) drones for the public to try.
