WareFPV MultiGP Global Qualifier - Aug 2nd (Sun)

WareFPV has been an official MultiGP Chapter since 2023 and we’re now focused on holding regular timed race events throughout the summer months to encourage the growth of Drone Racing in the Southeast of England. This is your chance to get yourself an official global ranking, or better your previous time.

• 5” Open Class: Official MultiGP Global Qualifier Race
• Pro-Spec: Unofficial race held on the GQ track.

VENUE

For 2026 WareFPV have secured a new dedicated outdoor race venue located at Thundridge Cricket and Football Club (2min drive from our existing practice track and whoop track). The new race venue is a local village Sportsfield with Indoor Pitting and Toilet Facilities. Power is available on site with priority given to running the event and timing equipment. Please bring your own power supply for charging your race packs as a back up. Pitting is also available outside for those looking to enjoy the sunshine.
 

Access & Parking Instructions

• As you travel down the hill through Thundridge, look for a gravel road on your left, just before the traffic control barrier.
• This entrance is directly opposite Ermins Café.
• Upon entering, you will see the allotments on your right.

Continue along the gravel road:

• Drive slowly all the way to the end.
• Follow the road down the hill to the pitch.

Parking:

• Do NOT drive onto the pitch.
• All vehicles must be parked on the far left side of the field.

INSURANCE

All pilots will need BMFA insurance.

Race Cost £15 per pilot – with your second racing class FREE OF CHARGE.

Format Open and ProSpec classes: 2 minutes plus 30 seconds heats. Lap times will be fastest 3 lap consecutive. No Lap Cap. All pilots will progress to Finals (ABCD etc) and all finals will be 3 races for each. Seeding for finals will be base on GQ finishing positions.

Battery Max Charge of 4.35v per cell, if you are found to have over charged your batteries you may be asked to leave.

VTX Analog or HDZero preferred but we can accommodate DJI & Walksnail in a specific heat if needed (please inform us if you are going to fly DJI/WS).

RACE TIMES

• 9:00 - Arrive and Set up
• 10:30 - Heats start
• 17:30 – Event Ends - Pack up
